CLEARLY INSPIRED CHALLENGE ~~ 5

This is the first CLEARLY INSPIRED CHALLENGE hosted by CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS on LORI'S BLOG.

The theme of this challenge was ** 5 **! Why the number 5 you may ask? It is because Clear Dollar Stamps is 5 years old. Happy Anniversary LORI!!!!!

Check out Lori's wonderful store HERE!

So back to the challenge...we were to use the number 5 as our inspiration. We could interpret it how we liked. I chose to use this sweet Little Snowman stamp from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS, and he is juggling 5 snowflakes. There is also 5 dewdrops across the top of my card and bow.

I used vellum card stock and my Martha Stewart loop punches to create a snowflake. I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to all the loops.

My little snowman and snowflakes were embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and Ballet Blue Craft ink.

I added 5 sparkly brads to the center of each snowflake. There is also glitter on my snowman and I used Liquide Applique for the snow.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps~Little Snowman
Paper: Vellum card stock, Ballet Blue, Shimmery White

I usually use mostly white cardstock for a CAS card, but today I ventured out into some colour.

I added some dazzling diamonds glitter to my hearts and the one heart is cut out and popped up on dimensionals.

Card Supplies:

WHITE CARNATIONS~~FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE

I made a real quick card today for the Featured Stamper Challenge. I loved Miss Boo aka Jen's gallery. I chose her card HERE to case.
I changed the stamps I used, the colours and the shape the main image is stamped on.
I used a new stamp from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS called Carnation January Flower of the Month.
I embossed the flower with White EP onto Soft Suede. I versamarked the edges of the top note die and coloured in the flowers with the Soft Suede marker to make them stand out a bit more.
I used a piece of mesh and Close to Cocoa ink on the Kraft card base.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps~~Carnation FOM
Paper: Kraft, Soft Suede
Ink: Soft Suede, Close To Cocoa, White EP
Accessories: White EP, Versamark, Soft Suede marker, Bow Easy, SU Soft Suede ribbon, Spiral clip, mesh
Thanks for looking. Hope everyone has a great week!

SHIMMERY BLUE JAY ~~ INSPIRATION CHALLENGE

This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoast. I was inspired by THIS plate.

I used White Shimmer Paper for my entire card. The flowers were embossed with Detail Gold EP and sponged lightly with Blush Blossom and Old Olive. The blue jay was stamped with black staz-on and cut out and popped up. It was coloured with blush blossom and brilliant blue with some white gel pen.

I embossed my scalloped circle nestie directly onto my card base. Stampin Up's White Shimmer Paint was added to the scallops, my flowers and a little bit to the blue jay.

I sponged blush blossom onto the circle center and brilliant blue around the edges.

The gold cord bow was made with my bow easy.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps~~Winged Whispers, Pointsettia December FOM, Just For You Sentiment
Paper: Shimmery White cardstock
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Blush Blossom, Old Olive, Black Staz-on
Accessories: Circle Nesties, SU White Shimmer Paint, Gold Cording, Bow Easy, Sponge Daubers, Dimensionals
