WHITE & IVORY FLOWERS

This card is for the following challenges:

Try A New Technique at Splitcoast.....PAPER POSIES...we were to make some type of flowers for our card.

Clean & Simple at Splitcoast. This week was an inspiration challenge. I chose THIS cake as my inspiration.

Our Creative Corner Challenge which was a sketch this week.

Crazy 4 Challenges...to use two different ribbons on our card. I used gold cording and white ribbon.

I used my score pal to create the patterned background, and my SU Scallop Circle punch to create the flowers. I looped some ribbon to make some leaves and added the butterfly.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: CDS Heartfelt Sentiments
Paper: Whisper White, Very Vanilla
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Accessories: SU Scalloped Trim Border Punch, Scalloped Circle Punch, White Ribbon, Gold Cording, brads, pearls, Butterfly Die

I was pleased with how elegant this card turned out and will be using it at an upcoming wedding.

Thanks for looking today!

  2. Your card is beautiful! I love the white on white. The background makes such a nice quiet base but adds so much texture! The gold cord and ribbon are so pretty under those amazing flowers but most of all I love how you finished it all off with the dainty little pearls and the layered butterfly! It's such an elegant little work of art!
    Thanks for sharing! :o)
