WHITE ON WHITE CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS WEEKEND COLOUR CHALLENGE

Wow, this challenge was more difficult than I thought. This weekends Clear Dollar Stamps Colour Challenge was to use ONLY white. I cheated a tiny bit and added a bit of Basic Grey and Pink Pirouette.
I used my embossing folder to emboss the white vellum cardstock and to cut out my daisy flowers. I sponged a little bit of pink pirouette on my flower to make a bit of a contrast against the background.
I used Clear Dollar Stamps Words Of Gratitude stamp set. I used a build a brad for the flower center. I added a bit of Basic Grey Taffeta ribbon with my white ribbon treatment for a bit of contrast as well.
The butterflies were punched with Vellum cardstock and shimmery white.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps: Words of Gratitude
Paper: Whisper White, Shimmery White, White Vellum Cardstock
Ink: Basic Grey, Pink Piroutee
Accessories: Build A Brad, Daisy Sizzix Die, Embossing folder, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, word window punch, sponge dauber, ribbons

Here is just a close up of the flower. My friend and SU Demo Crystal is letting me borrow her Daisy Die. I just love the build a brad too!
Have a great weekend.

Gigi's Hairdo

I have no card today, just wanted to post an updated picture of our Gigi. She is now 12 weeks old.
If you see her picture in my sidebar..you can see her ears are starting to stand up. Her hair is coming in silver now on the top of her head.
I couldn't resist putting a little bow in her hair...which I actually made with my Bow Easy that I ordered from Sharon Johnston's blog. So I guess this is kinda card related. LOL
Have a great Sunday.

MAY YOUR SORROW BE FLEETING

I made this card for this weekends Clear Dollar Stamps Colour Challenge over at PaperCraftPlanet. The link is in my sidebar. Why don't you come on over and play along.

I used NEW stamps for July from Clear Dollar Stamps called Sheltering Lights. It is such a great set to use on watercolour paper to watercolour...which is what I did on this card.

The colours for the challenge were: Baja Breeze, Real Red and Barely Banana.

I needed another sympathy card for a co-worker who is a man, so I thought this stamp set would suit the occasion and be more on the masculine side. I used the sentiment from the CDS March SOM Sweet Hummingbird.

I watercoloured my image with my aquapainter and inks. I added a few birds on the horizon with a marker and used my white gel pen to add some accents too.

I also used the sketch from this weeks MOJO MONDAY Challenge.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: CDS ~ Sheltering Lights & March SOM Sweet Hummingbird
Paper: Real Red Textured and Plain Cardstock, Baja Breeze, Barely Banana, watercolour paper
Ink: Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Barely Banana, Real Red, Black Staz-on
Accessories: Large & Scalloped Oval punches, Ticket punch, slit punch, So Saffron Twill ribbon, brads, white gel pen, marker, dimensional, Bow Easy
