BLACK MAGIC

For today's SKETCH CHALLENGE at Splitcoaststampers. I decided to give the Black Magic Technique a try. I don't think it turned out too bad for my first attempt.

Here is a close up of my Black Magic Flower. I really liked this technique and will definately use it again.

SIMPLY SOFT

I made this card earlier in the week and never uploaded it. It is using the Simply Soft Stamp set which is a hostess set and can be earned for free.

I used the Layered Marker (Karen Barber's Technique) to color in my flowers.

I added some shadow and highlights.

HB FLOWER FEST

For today's TRY A NEW TECHNIQUE CHALLENGE, to use a regular HB Pencil to color in an image. Also the sketch from today's CLEAN & SIMPLE CHALLENGE..

I heat embossed the images with the Pewter embossing powder from the Holiday Mini Catty. I then colored in the images using a regular HB pencil. I used the eraser to add some highlights and a little bit of a pink and green pencil crayon just to add a bit of interest. It looks much better in real life.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: SU Flower Fest
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Basic Grey
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: SU Circle & Flower Punch, SU Lace Border Punch, SU Neutral Buttons, SU White Bakers Twine, Dimensionals
