GIGI'S FIRST HAIRCUT!

I am home sick today...yuk! We leave for holiday's on Monday...I should be cleaning house, packing etc....yet here I sit. So I thought since I am feeling too yucky to make a card I would show you the before and after pictures of my Gigi. She is my little 5lb , nine month old Yorkie.

In the before picture she reminds me of a little sheepdog. She hated it when I put a bow in her hair so I could see her pretty eyes. So off to the dog groomer we went ... to get her bangs trimmed.
Look, now I can see her pretty eyes. She got a pedicure too...lol! I left her ear hair alone...I love all the hair she has on her ears.
Well maybe I will go do something now... a nap sounds good to me!

FOREVER & ALWAYS

Today's limited supply challenge was definitely a challenge. Check it out HERE.
We were to make a card in less than 15 minutes...use new stuff....& make it for an annual event. I chose an anniversary card which is one of a few I need for friends of ours.
In order to make this a quick card...I used Our Creative Corner's sketch challenge. This helped me immensely....since the layout is what takes me the longest to figure out.
I used NEW stamps I received as a hostess from Stampin Up called Wings of Friendship. I also used new Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up called Night & Day. I love the black and white theme of this paper....so I kept this them with my colours scheme.
The images were all embossed with black embossing powder. I stamped the flourish from this set along the edges of the black cardstock layer...but the photo didn't really pick it up. I used my Bow Easy to make a quick bow.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin Up~ Wings of Friendship; So Many Sayings
Paper: SU Night & Day DSP, Black, Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Black EP
Accessories: Black EP, Versamarker, Circle Scallop Punch, ribbon, glue dots, distressing tool
Thanks for looking! Hope everyone enjoys their day off!!

CLEARLY INSPIRED CHALLENGE #4 ~~ MONKEY MADNESS

Isn't this little guy cute? He was stamped for this weeks CLEARLY INSPIRED CHALLENGE over at LORI'S BLOG. We were to use brads somehow on our card. Even if you don't own any CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS, why don't you play along.....there are always prizes to be won.

I used my Build A Brad as my little monkey's thought bubble! His little brain is on **LOVE**.
This little note will probably find its way into my hubby's lunch.

I used my largest square scalloped Nestability to make my card base from Chocolate Chip Cardstock. I then used Real Red and my nesties to create the next panel.

I was going for a more clean and simple card for this one. I stamped the leaves from the same set 'Monkey Madness' on the background. This was the very first stamp set I bought from Clear Dollar Stamps.....a very long time ago. I would have never dreamed I would be on their Design Team one day.!.!.!

Card Supplies:

Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps ~ Monkey Madness
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Close To Cocoa
Accessories: Square Nesties, Build a Brad, Sponging, SU Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals
