HAPPY 25TH

This card is for my Brother & Sister-in-law who are celebrating their 25th Anniversary on Tuesday. They are taking a trip to Italy for their Anniversary. I am so happy for them, since they have hardly traveled at all!

It also fits today's Ways To Use It challenge at Splitcoaststampers to use numbers on our card.

This card actually has NO stamping on it...I know gasp!!!

It was made from some Hot Off The Press DSP I have had forever..I love how well it went with the Soft Suede.

I also decorated the inside of the card with some of the same DSP and used my Arch Lattice Punch. The little envelope will hold a little $$$ gift from us. I used some velcro on the envelope to keep it closed.

I hope they like it.

Stamps: Oval All
Paper: Hot Off The Press DSP, Soft Suede, Black, Ivory

OPPOSITES BELIEVE

I know that is a strange title...but it goes with today's Limited Supplies Challenge at Splitcoast.
It was all about opposites: we were to use one of our OLDEST stamps, our NEWEST tool, our FAVOURITE colour combo, and our LEAST FAVOURITE embellishments.
One of my oldest stamps is this Hero Arts Large Traditional Rose stamps...I embossed it with copper EP.....I used to emboss almost everything when I first started stamping. I used my Fleur de lis border punch from EK Success...because it is my newest tool.
I used one of my favourite colour combo's, chocolate chip and pink, and my LEAST favourite embellishments...eyelets and a sticker for the sentiment.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts Large Traditional Rose
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Bella Rose DSP
Ink: Close To Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, copper EP

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HON!

Today is my husband's and my 21st Anniversary. This is the card I made for him today. I hope he likes it.

It also fits today's Ways to Use it Challenge over at Splitcoast...'Revved up for Red'....to use the colour red on our card.

I was inspired by Judy aka StampingQueenJAR's CARD.

I took Crystal Effects and Red Glitter and mixed them together...I brushed them onto my chipboard heart with a foam paintbrush. The heart had already been sponged in Riding Hood Red.

I was going for a shabby chic look...so there is alot of sponging of Close To Cocoa and Riding Hood Red on the edges of everything.

I used several layers of sheer brown ribbon on my tag and heated the ends with my heat gun to achieve the crinkled look. My Bow Easy was used to create the double sheer bow with the key and heart charms.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: SU ~ French Flair, So Many Sayings, Wonderful Words
Paper: Bella Rose DSP, Chocolate Chip, Kraft
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Close To Cocoa
Accessories: Build A Brad & Daisy Die, Crystal Effects, Red Glitter, Foam Paint Brush, Bow Easy, Square Nestabilities, Chipboard heart & tag, Sheer Brown Ribbon, heat gun, Key & Heartlock charms, Sponge Daubers

Thanks for looking today.

Happy Anniversary Andrew......Love ya!

I did alot of sponging and distressed the edges. I added small brads in each corner.

This is the inside of the card. I sometimes forget to decorate the inside. This has alot of white space so there is enough room for everyone at work to sign it.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: Inkadinkadoo~Fall Season; Clear Dollar Stamps~Words of Sympathy
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, More Mustard, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Night of Navy, Black
