MISTED AUTUMN LEAVES

This fall card was created for today's Ways to Use It challenge at Splitcoaststampers. Although it is cold enough here in Southern Ontario that it should have been a winter themed card. BRRRRRRRR.............................................................................................................................

I used my retired Stampin Up set called Fantastic Foilage. I used the Misting with Markers technique on this card. I coloured my stamp with my Dusty Durango marker then misted it with water before stamping it onto watercolour paper.

I like how it blurs the lines and how the colour runs and settles. I then cut it out with my oval Nestabilities.

Card Supplies:

Stamps: Stampin Up~Fantastic Foilage; Clear Dollar Stamps~Hello sentiment
Paper: Hot Off the Press DSP, Watercolour paper, Dusty Durango
Ink: Dusty Durango, Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: EK Success Fleur de lis border punch, Word Window punch, SU Satin chocolate chip ribbon, corduroy brads, ribbon, sponge daubers, dimensiionals

Thanks for looking! Hope are having warmer weather than we are!

Awesome card, Gloria! I like what you did with this set!
I don't work at SGD but I teach a class there once in a while and do a make and take for them, which is always a lot of fun and it helps support the habbit LOL!
We could meet there some time, I would like that.
Let me know what works for you, take care, Anja
