I made this card using the Pullin' Pastels Technique I saw over at Stamp TV. (click on the link to see the video)
As soon as I saw Gina K demonstrate this I knew I had to give it a try....especially since my poor chalks don't get much attention. I love how it turned out!
I made this card for the following challenges:
STAMP TV THURSDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE (Great sketch Vicki!!)
FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY'S CHALLENGE~To use a butterfly on our card
CUTE CARD THURSDAY CHALLENGE ~ We were NOT allowed to use any designer paper, but could create our own...which I did!!!
This is a close up of my butterflies...which I just versamarked, chalked up and cut out. I added a tiny bit of Crystal Stickles to their bodies.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Gina K Spring Mix Stamp TV Kit
Ink: Orchid Opulance, Versamark
Paper: All papers from Spring Mix Kit
Accessories: Spring Mix Ribbon and Brads, Spellbinders Oval Nesties, Chalk, Sponge Daubers, Bow Easy
Thanks for looking...I hope you are inspired by the video to give this technique a try...it was fun!
