EMBOSSED SAIL AWAY

I made this card for a co-worker who wanted a card for her husband. I used the Sail Away Stamp from the new Summer Mini Catalog which is great for masculine themed cards. I paired it with the coordinating Nautical Expedition DSP from the same catalog.

I had to make another Twisted Easel Card (from Monday's Try A New Technique Challenge) ... I think this is such a cool fold for a card and displays it so nicely.

I also made this card for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE at Splitcoaststampers.

I embossed the sailboat with Clear Embossing Powder, then sponged over it in Crumb Cake and Early Expresso to make the image appear. The sails were stamped again in Early Expresso and cut out and popped up on dimensionals.

Stampin Up Card Supplies:

Stamps: Sail Away
Paper: Nautical Expedition DSP, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso
Ink: Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Early Expresso
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Sponges, Dimensionals, Antique Brad, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine
