I made this card for two challenges today. The first one is the layout from the girls at Our Creative Corner.

The second was for Mothermarks Tuesday Teapot Challenge.

If you aren't familiar with them, click on the links and play along. The layout comes from the OCC Challenge and Mothermarks teapot was to use white on white.

I used two different types of white paper, Whisper White and Shimmery White. I also used the Textile embossing Folder to create some texture.
I stamped the Lily of the Valley with black Staz-on ink and coloured in the flowers with my white gel pen. The leaves were lightly coloured with the aquapainter in Kiwi Kiss. I added two different ribbons and some dew drops across the top. The oval is up on dimensionals.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps: May Flower of the Month
Paper: Whisper White, Shimmery White
Ink: Black Staz-on, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Nesties, Textile embossing folder, white gel pen, aquapainter, ribbon, dew drops

I like how this turned out. I have a few friends celebrating their Anniversary in May. So I am sure this will find its way to one of their mailboxes.

Thanks for looking today!

It's beautiful, Gloria! I don't think I've ever tried white on white, and I love how elegant it looks.

Oooohhh, how stunning!!! I love this card! It's so romantic and dreamy! The elements are put together so beautifully! Like that dotted sheer ribbon treatment, the embossed white panels with the scalloped ribbon wrapped around each, that gorgeous lily image framed so fabulously and the dew drops complete the look! Perfection, Gloria! that's what this card is! tfs :) ps- I adore both of these challenges and hope to play too-thanks for the inspiration! xoxo
