I made this card today for the Try A New Technique Challenge over at Splitcoast. We were to make Faux Denim. I used this technique to create the background layer for my card.
I swiped my Bordering Blue, Almost Navy and White Staz-on ink pads across my bordering blue cardstock. I then turned it 90 degrees and repeated the same steps.
I then inked up my SU Canvas background stamp with Basic Grey and stamped it off once, then stamped it along the bottom of my faux denim layer.
The motorcycle is a new stamp from http://www.cleardollarstamps.com/ for June called Motorcycle Mania. I stamped it with Black Staz-on ink onto watercolour paper. I then used my aquapainter and blender pen to watercolor it.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps ~ Motorcycle Mania; SU ~ Canvas
Paper: Bordering Blue, Watercolour paper
Ink: Bordering Blue, Not Quite Navy, White Staz-on, Black Staz-on, Basic Grey
Accessories: Nesties, Brads, aquapainter, blender pen
