Inspiration Challenge Saturday May 2, 2009

I created this card for the Inspiration Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.com.

I was inspired by this dress HERE.

I also was able to use NEW stamps for May from Clear Dollar Stamps. This set is called Words Of Gratitude. I think it is so elegant.

I used Tempting Turquoise textured paper and ran it thru the cuttlebug with the Divine Swirls embossing folder. I then used Galaxy Gold ink to highlight the raised edges.
I used Fine Gold EP to emboss the sentiment and the prima, which was originally white. I used my Martha Stewart Arched Lattice punch to create the decorative edges. After adding some ribbon and gold cording my card was done.

I was quite pleased with how it turned out since I don't usually used bright colours. I hope you like it too. Thanks for looking.

I never would have thought turquoise and gold could look so good together! Beautiful card and I like all the textures you've given it.

Great work Gloria!!! Love your blog and I really love how you embossed the primas! I don't know I could get mine to look that good! I'd love to know how you shaped them and got them so perfectly coated! Awesome!
