I created this card for today's CAS challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today's challenge was a sketch challenge.
I was asked to make a sympathy card for a co-worker who lost her father-in-law. This is the second one this month....These are the saddest cards to make.
I used my new stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps called Peony, and paired it with the Words Of Sympathy stamp set.
I stamped the image in black staz-on ink and used my aquapainter to colour it in with Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss. I sponged some Blush Blossom around the flower to create a bit of a shadow.
I made the decorative corners by using my MS Arch Lattice Punch.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps ~ Peony & Words Of Sympathy
Paper: Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss
Ink: Black Staz-on, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Blush Blossom
Accessories: MS Arch Lattice & Butterfly punches, pearls, aquapainter, sponge dauber
Thanks for looking today!
